The Poughkeepsie Row for the Cure is held at the Hudson River Rowing Association community boathouse in Poughkeepsie, New York. The boathouse is on the scenic Hudson River.
The 19,000-square-foot, $3 million dollar, boathouse was opened in the Spring of 2006.

This is also the venue for the famous crew races in Poughkeepsie described in Daniel James Brown’s 2013 book The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
Nearby the HRRA boathouse, is the Walkway Over the Hudson, opened in October 2009. The Walkway Over the Hudson is a 1.3 mile long pedestrian and bicycle trail that was built on what had been the Poughkeepsie-Highland Railroad Bridge. The bridge, which originally opened in 1889, was closed in 1974 after fire severely damaged the tracks.
Thirty-five years later, after an amazing transformation, the walkway opened to the public on Saturday, October 3, 2009 as the world's longest elevated park.
The HRRA community boathouse and the finish line for the Poughkeepsie Row for the Cure are clearly visible from the walkway, and if you have time during or after the regatta would be a nice park to visit.
The park hours are 7:00 a.m. to sunset, year-round, weather permitting.
