RegattaCentral

This is a 22km race. It is expected that those entering the race will be capable of rowing in the racing or open water single of their choice in sometimes not ideal conditions for 22km.

Registrants must be currently registered with Rowing Canada and RowOntario.

Please Note specifically from the Regatta Package:
- UNDER THE SCHEDULE SECTION: 7am - Safety Meeting at Control Commission Tent***This meeting is mandatory for all participants. Due to the distance travelled during the race, specific safety items need to be covered with everyone. Role call will be done and attendance at this meeting will be required to race. (i.e. no meeting, no race)
- UNDER THE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS SECTION:
        Rowers are required to carry with them in the boat the following mandatory safety gear.
        These will be checked at the launching dock and rowers will not be allowed to race without all of the mandatory   
        items.  
        - Lifejacket (can be inflatable)
        - Whistle (pealess whistle that will function when wet)
        - High visibility hat, shirt or other visible item of clothing
        - Minimum 1L of water
