The North Carolina Rowing Championships will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2021. This will be the fourth annual state championship regatta for youth rowing and the second for masters, and first for colleges in North Carolina. The event was formed in 2017 as the result of discussions among the head coaches of North Carolina's premier rowing clubs: Ashevile Youth Rowing, Belmont Rowing Club, Charlotte Youth Rowing, Triad United Rowing Association, and Triangle Rowing Club.
High Point's Festival Park at Oak Hollow Lake was unanimously selected by coaches as the venue for its central location and local organizing committee's proven success at hosting regional rowing events.
