Cincinnati High School Invitational

East Fork Park’s Lake Harsha has a long history as a rowing competition venue.  The 2,000 meter, seven-lane buoyed course has hosted the USRowing Club National Championships from 2015-2017, USRowing Youth Nationals from 1995-2010, and National Collegiate Rowing Championships from 1982-1996.  The US Olympic Team Trials for the 1988 Seoul Games were also held at the lake.

Junior and Scholastic rowing has been associated with the lake since the mid-1990s. In 1995, USRowing began inviting junior teams to East Fork Park’s Lake Harsha to offer the nation’s regional champions a chance to compete against the best teams in the country.  Now, the official USRowing Youth National Championships rotates to venues all over the county to provide the official National Champions.

We still honor the tradition of excellent rowing in Cincinnati. We welcome teams from all over the county to compete at the Cincinnati Invitational.
