San Diego Crew Classic is proud to partner with HBC Event Services, a housing agency with a nationwide reputation for excellence in managing travel for sports events.  HBC Event Services provides an easy way for you to book your hotel rooms with our partnered hotels at the best rates.  These rates are lower than their best available rate and usually include breakfast for your team. 

 

A Travel Protection Plan is now available for purchase for all new reservations booked through this website to protect your hotel and regatta costs.

This plan provides up to 100% reimbursement for covered cancellation reasons, like regatta cancellation. There's also Cancel for Any Reason coverage meaning you can cancel for any reason and get up to 75% reimbursement of these same costs. Additional terms apply.

HOTEL RESERVATION LINK

The Crew Classic has engaged with HBC Event Services in a Stay-to-Save agreement to bring forth the best available hotel rates for your visit to San Diego. Since this is a Stay-to-Save agreement, you are not required to stay in these partner hotels in order to participate in the regatta. The Crew Classic receives a generous grant from the San Diego Tourism Marketing District (SDTMD) and your hotel stay helps us receive that funding.  Our agreement with HBC is designed to provide you with better than advertised rates at participating hotels, and if you should find an advertised rate at the same hotel that is less than the rate provided by this agreement, HBC is happy to perform a rate check to ensure that you get the best possible value. We understand that visitors may stay with friends, family, a short term vacation rental, or even in an RV, as their preferred accommodation and we're simply glad you are here to participate in the Crew Classic! 

In the past the Crew Classic hired staff to negotiate up to fifty different hotel agreements and follow up with those hotels to provide room reservations back to the San Diego Tourism Marketing District (SDTMD) to support the grant the Crew Classic receives each year. As you can imagine, this was a time consuming task and subject to error and did not always provide good support to our visitors.

The Crew Classic always has its guests and competitors in mind and with this agreement you are assured of having a wide variety of hotels available to choose from at the lowest advertised rate along with excellent telephone support for any issues that may arise.
