THE COURSES
The Open Ocean Regatta features three courses of varying lengths and water conditions for open water scullers in shells and traditional boats, and for paddlers in a variety of paddling craft.
All courses start and finish at the same location, about 100 meters off of Sausalito near the site of the sea lion statue. All turns are accurate, but the path of travel is an approximation.Part of the race is navigation and understanding the conditions!
1ST RACE (DIBALO) STARTS AT 7:45AM. 7.6 NM ROWERS WILL NEED TO LEAVE SCHOONMAKER DOCK BY 7:15 AM.
2ND RACE (STRAWBERRY) STARTS AT 8:15AM. 5.3 NM ROWERS NEED TO LEAVE SCHOONMAKER BY 7:45AM.
3RD RACE (PADDLEBOARD) STARTS AT 8:45 AM 3.0 NM SHORT COURSE NEED TO LEAVE SCHOONMAKER BY 8:15AM
