Rower/Supply Drop Offs:

  • NO VEHICLES MAY REMAIN UNATTENDED IN THIS AREA. Vehicles will not be permitted to pull into the parking lots to drop off rowers or to turn around!!
  • ROWER DROP OFF ZONES HAVE BEEN MOVED!  Please advise your rowers that there will be 2 drop off zones
  • Rower Drop off has been moved North of the of the boat ramp for better safety & traffic flow control.
  • Rowers and materials may also be dropped off South of the Tent City across from Goldsmith Drive.

Footwear - Boats are staged in a field area near the launch and recovery docks.  Since this is generally not a pedestrian area, it can be rough on bare feet.  All rowers are requested to wear adequate footwear in the boat staging and dock areas.  Sandals or slides may not be adequate.

Spectators:

  • There will a shuttle van to assist that will run all day (6:45-5PM) from remote parking. There is no charge.
  • Spectators may view the races anywhere along the bike path adjacent to the course.
  • There is NO VIEWING from the Smother’s Road Bridge.  This bridge is not built for pedestrian traffic and for the safety of spectators as well as regatta participants and officials below the bridge, there is no viewing allowed from the bridge.
  • Spectators are asked not to view the races from the city docks as this interferes with emergency and non-regatta use of the waterways.

Trash:

  • Teams are expected to keep their area clean and free of trash.
  • All trash should be disposed of in proper receptacles along the venue.
  • Team trash should be placed in the dumpsters provided for the event.
  • At the end of the day trash can be consolidated along Sunbury Road for ease of pick up by regatta volunteers.
