Definitions

• Youth Events - Anyone who was in high school and graduated no earlier than April 2023 is allowed to race.
• U17 Events - Anyone born in 2007 or younger
• C/D Events - Any event that has four or more entries that are C or beyond entries from any club we will move to a separate event to allow those boats to have their own event.
• Novice 1x Event - Anyone who has never raced a 1x. Please be honest here about where your athlete will be challenged best. We want to encourage as many rowers to race a 1x in the summer as possible. This event is more about getting experience and less about a championship win (though we will provide medals for this event also!)
• Composite - Go for it. Just be honest about it. We just want kids racing.
• Lightweights - Sorry, no lightweight events.

Bow Numbers

• We will provide Alpha Numeric bow numbers at the docks

Medals

• Will be provided to 1st, 2nd and 3rd entries. Winners will also receive special edition shirts.

Safety

• The safety of your boats is each program’s responsibility. While we reserve the right to check bow balls and foot stretchers at the dock, we expect all programs to have gone through this safety check and not send any boat out on the water that isn’t properly prepared to be safe.
