Although not required, competitors are encouraged to get sponsors.  The following pledge form may be used in order to solicit sponsors:

The "Coaches vs. Teams" event is a race where the coaches can race against their own teams.  By signing up your team for this event, we will allow one coach from your team, to join the coaches' boat.  If the boat coaches' boat is not full, as may be the case if we do not get enough entries, we will select via lottery, from the teams that have entered, a second coach until the boat is full.
