15th Annual Northeast Fall Championship Regatta

Region: This regatta is open to all junior and high school programs within the Northeast. The Northeast is defined as the following states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

New in 2024: New York schools and programs are also welcome to attend and may race in either a High School or Junior category, depending upon their club status.

High School (HS) is a scholastic championship open to programs which:

-are SINGLE SCHOOL or District with a SINGLE Athletic Director,

-row as above for the entire fall under the school name, AND

-are an HS varsity sport or club sport under the direction of the Athletic Director or Principal.

**Members of the NEIRA are automatically included**

All programs not meeting the above standard shall race in the Junior division.

Programs that fall under the Junior category include:

-Local/Regional clubs

-Multiple school composite programs

Novice Rowers: To row as a novice, a competitor must be no older than a freshman or in his/her first calendar year of rowing.
Contact the Regatta Director with all questions on Novice Eligibility, including queries or exceptions regarding COVID-19 interruptions. The Regatta Director's decisions are final.

MASTERS ELIGIBILITY

Master: A Master Rower (Master) is a competitor who has reached or will reach the age of 21 during the current calendar year. A master's age is determined as of December 31 of the current calendar year, rounded down to the nearest whole number. A competitor becomes a Master on January 1 of the year of their 21st birthday. A Master's Crew shall be comprised exclusively of Master's Rowers, but the Coxswain need not be a Master.
