Q: What is the Philadelphia Indoor Classic?

A: The Philadelphia Indoor Classic is an indoor rowing competition organized by Philadelphia City Rowing. It aims to bring together rowing enthusiasts from across the region for a day of spirited competition and community engagement.

A: The Indoor Classic will take place at PCR’s indoor facility located in East Parkside.

Q: How can I register for the event?

A: Registration will be through Regatta Central and will open soon. 

Q: What are the entry fees for the event?

A: 2k: Early registration: $30 | Standard registration: $35 | Late registration: $40

#PCR10kChallenge: Early registration: $50 per participant | Standard registration: $55 per participant | Late registration: $60 per participant

Dash for cash: $20 (day-of entries accepted)

Q: What categories are available for competition?    

A: 2k: Men’s and Women’s U15, U17, U19, U23, Open, Masters 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
10k Challenge Relay: Men’s and Women’s solo, double, and Mixed 4-person teams
500 Dash: Youth and Open

Q: Are there awards or prizes?    

A: Yes! There will be prizes up for grabs for each event, and specifically a cash prize for the Dash for Cash events. Additional information about prizes is available in the "News" section. 

Q: Is there parking available at the venue?

A: There is street parking available in the neighborhood. We are working on additional parking options and will update this section as more information becomes available. The venue is also accessible by SEPTA. 

Q: Can I volunteer at the event?

A: We welcome volunteers to help make the Philadelphia Indoor Classic a success! Service hours are available for students. Please visit our website for more information on volunteer roles and how to sign up.

Q: Is the event accessible for spectators?

A: The event will be accessible for spectators. There will be designated areas from which you can cheer on the competitors. More details will be provided as we finalize the venue setup.
