The Head of the Oklahoma is held on the beautifully redeveloped Oklahoma River near downtown Oklahoma City. With over 2.5 miles of sheltered water conditions and a straight sprint course, the Oklahoma River has been proclaimed as one of America's top rowing venues. The venue also features a fully-buoyed 2000 meter straight race course and a starting platform system. The world-class Chesapeake Boathouse was recently completed, serving as an iconic landmark on the Oklahoma River and the Head of the Oklahoma regatta headquarters.
