The OWRC Open Ocean Regatta is entirely volunteer-run. If you would like to volunteer, we are very grateful for your assistance, and please contact [email protected] to learn more. If you have an idea of how you would like to help, please include that information. 

Every year, we are always looking for at least the following positions:

Pre-registration assistance - the afternoon before the event, making sure waivers are signed, competitors have the correct bow numbers and instructions to apply them correctly. 

Carrying boats to the dock and back up - it's fast launching process - the more help we have carrying boats, the more smoothly it goes.

Shore coordination - launching & landing boats, tracking everyone gets back safely.

Food & beverage assistance - simple, like a picnic, but we still love help with prep, serving and clean-up.

Parking coordination - lots of people = many cars. Helping people find the right parking areas is a huge help.
