The West Side Rowing Club Middle School Program is open to athletes in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade who are interested in learning about rowing and exploring Buffalo’s waterfront! The Middle School program is designed as a learn to row program that culminates in racing at the end of the season. All program participants using Club equipment must have passed the necessary safety qualifications before using any equipment without an accompanying coach on the Black Rock Canal. WSRC Masters 3x Per Week - Fall

This program is for experienced rowers with 1+ years on-water rowing experience. Members range in age from early 20s to late 60s. Many rowers have high school, collegiate, or several years of adult rowing experience. All are dedicated athletes looking to refine technique, increase speed, and make connections with other passionate rowers. Practices will be offered Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:45 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30-9:30 a.m. September 3rd - October 31st (12 week program) (Regattas planned to attend: Head of the Cuyahoga, Head of the Welland, Head of the Niagara, and Head of the Schuylkill), others TBD) Regatta fees and coxswain fees (if applicable) are not included in the registration price. $375.00 Note: Fall 2024 payment is due no later than Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Adult Winter Training Erg at The Frank Lloyd Wright Boathouse this Winter! November 11th - December 18th Whether you have never picked up an oar, or rowed in high school or college, we welcome all masters (adults ages 21 and up) into the Winter Training Program.
