Summer Rowing League - Monday (Experienced)

This 11-week Summer Rowing League (SRL) program is designed for rowers of all abilities who wish to row once a week. During the 90-minute 1:1 ratio coached practice sessions, rowers will learn basic rowing technique and boat moving skills, both on land and on the water, in a fun and low intensity environment. General Sculling Fee - Summer

Program Description General Sculling Fee - Summer Season (For experienced rowers only, 18+ years old) Summer Season: When Cold Water Rules Are Lifted – August 31, 2024 The Summer Rowing program allows an approved rower who has paid a rowing fee assessment to use WSRC approved sweep and/or sculling equipment, as determined by the Head Coach/Staff of West Side Rowing Club, and subject to equipment availability. All program participants using Club equipment must have passed the necessary safety qualifications before using any equipment without an accompanying coach on the Black Rock Canal. In addition, all coxswains must be approved by Staff which plan to participate in this program. Equipment must be reserved using the iCrew reservation website. Away regatta fees not included. Club Equipment is unavailable during registered summer team programming. Fee: $250

WSRC Masters 3x Per Week - Summer

This program is for experienced rowers with 1+ years on-water rowing experience. Members range in age from early 20s to late 60s. All are dedicated athletes looking to refine technique, increase speed, and make connections with other passionate rowers. If you don’t meet these criteria, but are eager to start rowing (or get back on the water after a hiatus), you are encouraged to participate in WSRC’s Summer Rowing League (SRL) program. ——> Practices will be offered Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30-10:00 a.m. May 13th - August 31st (12 week program) ——> Regatta fees and coxswain fees (if applicable) are not included in the registration price.

A rower and coxswain who is no longer an Under 19 athlete shall be classified as Under 23 until the 31st of December of the year in which he or she reaches the age of 22.
