Welcome to the 2022 Head of the Rock Regatta!
The Rock River Valley YMCA Rowing Club will hold its 36th annual regatta on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Thanks to sponsors, club members and volunteers the Head of the Rock continues to offer participants and spectators a first-rate experience in a beautiful rowing venue. Please continue the tradition of racing on the Rock River and join us in 2022!
Regatta Features:
- A 5,000 meter (3.1 mile) course on the Rock River with may ideal locations for spectators
- Professional timing services from TRI-3 Timing employing FinishLynx cameras at Start/Finish
- 2 split times are reported
- Results will be available at RegattaMaster.com
- Special reserved parking for car top singles and doubles on first-come basis.
- The venue is open for practice on Saturday, October 8, sunup to sundown. Practice is at your own risk. There are no safety personnel on the river. The practice boat traffic pattern is posted in the boathouse. Also, see the Venue tab for a map.
- Bring your bicycle, most of race course has a bike path running parallel to it.
