The Wine Country Rowing Classic is held on the saltwater tidal slough known as the Petaluma River. Petaluma, a fusion of ranching and retail, industry and intellectualism, is the gateway to Sonoma County, and boasts many great restaurants and local shops, as well as the continuing beauty of rolling hills and hidden wineries. North Bay Rowing Club invites competitors and their friends and families to use the regatta as a great excuse to explore Petaluma and the surrounding beauty of wine country. This year, to help introduce our visitors to the bounty of Petaluma, we'll be raffling off Wine Country Rowing Classic Prize Baskets, holding locally produced products donated by Petaluma businesses. Every rower will get one ticket free, and will have the opportunity to buy more to increase his or her chances!
