Stonewall Regatta

  • Hosted By: D.C. Strokes Rowing Club
  • 2016 Registered Regatta

Current as of 5/5/11:

Event list is posted and Registration is open!  The final event list will be posted Friday May 27, after the registration deadline.  Events with less than TWO competitors from at least TWO different organizations will be removed.

Due to the anticipated size of the regatta, SOME EVENTS ARE CAPPED AS FOLLOWS (we don't want to be racing at 8PM):

All OPEN events: Limited to two heats, capped at 10 entries (limit 3 per club)

MASTERS 4+, events:  Limited to 4 heats, capped at 20 entries (limit 7 per club)

MASTERS 1x and 8+ events:  Limited to 3 heats, capped at 15 entries (limit 5 per club)

MIXED 4+ and 8+ events:  Limited to 2 heats, capped at 10 entries (limit 3 per club)

Participants are encouraged to enter boats for the WAIT LIST if the cap is reached - all attempts will be made to accommodate wait listed boats as long as (a) an additional heat can be added if another heat needs to be scratched due to lack of competition and (b) there are at least two or three competitors wait listed.

**Masters entries without complete birthdates for all rowers will be bumped to the wait list at the registration deadline and that spot given to a complete entry from the wait list.

The REGISTRATION DEADLINE has been moved to 11:59PM THURSDAY, MAY 26.  Entries on the wait list will be notified Friday morning, May 27, as to whether or not they have been given a lane, so as to be able to plan for training and so that they will know before the holiday weekend.

NEW FOR 2011:

2.  SRXVIII will be offering the Adaptive Rowing events (to be decided).
