Practice Times:

• Thursday October 26 4-6:30PM
• Friday October 27th after racing (2 hour training window starting 5 minutes after the last race)

Email sent to head coaches on October 24th: 

Brock U has graciously offered to supply 2 coaches for that time, but we will require 2 other coach boats on the water for practice to happen.  We will have to work together for coaches to take shifts on the water while crews are out there to ensure we always have 4 coach boats on the water.  

The coach boats will be stationed at the start gates, finish line, 500m and 1500m in Lane 4.  Coaches will not be able to follow their crews during practice times, but will act as safety boats in that area. 

I have attached a copy of the Henley training traffic pattern for reference (though note our coach boats will be positioned slightly differently, as stated above).  Please review with your athletes before you launch. 

No crews will be permitted on the course to practice outside of these times.  

At the coach's meeting on Thursday night, we can discuss a Friday afternoon practice and see if there is enough interest to warrant it.  We are unable to run a practice before the event, at the request of the CAT crew checking the course and setting up the start in preparation for the day.
