ENTRY FEES. Unlike the Flicks, there are entry fees for City Championship. They are due no later than the day of the regatta, May 5. If you do not pay online, mail beforehand or bring a check or a Purchase Order to the coaches meeting the day of the regatta.

ENTRY DEADLINES: The standard deadline is Wednesday, May 2 at 11:59 pm. The late deadline is Thursday, May 3 at 11:59 pm. The late deadline is one day earlier than the Flick late deadlines. Late entries are taken if a spot still exists in the event and will not be seeded. A late fee also applies. There will be no changes after the late deadline, except for scratches.

A & B BOATS are allowed but we do not accept C, D, E, F, G …Z  boats.

TIME TRIALS will be held on Saturday beginning at 12:30 pm for all events that haveover six entries. Events with six or less entries will go to a direct final on Sunday. Seeding is based on times from the 5th Flick.

PROGRESSION: For all events that have 18 or fewer entries, the top six boats will advance to finals on Sunday. For JV and Varsity events with more than 18 entries, the top 12 will go to semifinals Sunday morning beginning at 9 am. Based on last year's regatta, there should be about six such events.

STAKE BOATS will be used for all events, including freshmen and novice events, on Sunday, weather permitting, and if we have enough stake boat holders. It is up to you as coaches to provide stake boat holders. Please contact me with the number you can provide. Also please make sure your rowers can back into a stake boat. They will need to know for other post-season regattas as well.

PARKING PASSES: Parking passes were distributed to teams at the 5th Flick when bow numbers were turned in. If you did not attend the 5th Flick, the passes will be mailed to you this week. If you are not coming to City Championship, let me know. There are two sets of passes: One for Saturday that says May 5 and a Sunday pass that says Regatta May 6. The Saturday pass is for Saturday only; the Sunday pass is for Sunday only. A coach pass is good for the entire season including both days of City Championship.

WEIGH IN: There will be one weigh-in time only for lightweight events that have more than six entries and that is Saturday, May 5, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at both Vesper Boathouse and on the porch of Gillin (St. Joseph's) Boathouse. For lightweight events that have a direct final we will hold a weigh-in at Gillin from 8 to 9 am on Sunday. The same rules apply as in the Flicks. Bring your lineup with you and all kids need to show ID.

MEDALS  are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all events that have at least four entries. Events with three entries will award 1st and 2nd place medals. Events with only two entries will award 1st place only.

LATE FEES: Many of you have late fees and I will send you a separate reminder AGAIN. They also must be paid by May 5. You can pay those online through your Regatta Central account or with cash or a check.

PARKING AND TRAFFIC procedures for spectators will be emailed to parent booster contacts and posted online later this week. Please be aware of them and advise your parents to comply. For City Championship, the following vehicles do not need parking passes: boat trailers, school buses/vans and chuck wagons. Regarding trailer parking, we will send an update early next week.

QUALIFIER. City Championships is a qualifier for Youth Nationals, the SRAA and NSRA regattas.

PSRA WAIVERS must be signed by all rowers by now.
