Registration 

Entry fees: $30 per participant, unlimited racing. Except the youth/novice  (5-11 years of age) events are free.

See 'Dates & Deadlines' for registration timeline. No refunds after scratch deadline. Refunds will be minus fees.

US Rowing membership is not required. However, anyone without a current US Rowing membership is required to sign a paper waiver before participation is allowed. Here is the waiver. It is recommended that you download the waiver and bring a signed copy. 

 

Late Registration is for relays only.

Late registration is available but not guaranteed, will be based on space available. Relays are capped at 12 entrys per relay.

Late registration for 2K Relay races (4x 500m) is provided to encourage and faciliate forming additional relay teams. We will help those individuals who are 'free agents' find a team, that is they are not already on a team and would like to join a relay team. Similarly, if your team needs an additional member for a relay team, please contact the race director.

Late registration for the Family Parent/Child 1K Relay races (2x 500m) is similiarly provided to encoarage participation. We know there are a few parents who need a little more convincing. But space is limited so don't delay. 

Registration for the youth (5-11 years) races are day-of-registration only. No entry fee, but space is limited so sign-up early. Option to choose 1 minute or 4 minute race based on age and ability

 

Events

Event list, order and start time is now available for the Individual 2k races. Relay race start times are subject to change based on number of late registration entries.  The Masters class events have been combined into one flight, however they are still indepentant events with independant winners. Multiple flights (heats) were created for the Mens Open Individual 2k. No Finals, winners will be the best times from the two heats.

Collegiate rowers should participate in Open Events. If there is enough interest and participation, we could add a separate Collegiate Division. Contact the race director with your requests.

HERO HEAT: This is a relay heat especially for our heros! First Responders, Medical professionals, etc.
Who will be faster the fire fighters, the police officers, the MDs?

Doors open: 9:30 am
First race: 10:30 am
Each race will start on 15 minute intervals

Masters events will be handicapped. 

 

Finals Only

The MN Power Pull is run as finals-only in all singles and relay events; you will race only once per event entered. In categories with many participants, we will attempt to position athletes based upon seeding submitted during registration. However, the best time will win each event, regardless of what heat the athlete rows in.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers of each Junior and Open division race.  

First place prizes will be awarded for each Masters division race and all relays.

Age Definitions

All ages calculated as of December 31, 2025

Youth/novice event is for athletes 5-11 years of age with no rowing experience.  Damper setting can be set to zero. Sign-up the day of the event. Option to choose the 1 minute or 4 minute race, based on age and abilitiy.
