Please consider a visit to University of the Pacific, which is located about 5 minutes north of the regatta on Pacific Avenue.

University of the Pacific is the oldest University in California, and was established in 1851.

Scenes from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and numerous other movies have been  filmed at Pacific because of the beauty of our campus and the ivy covered brick and granite buildings that we enjoy.

There is a visitors parking area adjacent to Burns Tower at the Pacific Avenue entrance for you convenience. Come and check out our new 40 million dollar University Center which will be open on Sunday and maintains full meal service, or just stroll through the grounds and enjoy the autumn leaves.
