PRIVATE ROWING INSTRUCTION

This opportunity is for beginners through advanced rowers to get 90 minutes of one on one instruction with a member of the Atomic Coaching Staff. Whether you are getting in a boat for the first time or working to refine your technique after many years of competition, occasional individual feedback and instruction can be invaluable!

Masters Experienced Competitive Program - Spring 2025

This is a 20-week competitive program for masters rowers who have previous rowing and racing experience. The competitive group focus is on establishing a solid foundation in the winter months, transferring that fitness to moving boats on the water, and becoming race ready to achieve performance objectives at Dogwood Masters Regatta. Juniors Development Program - Spring 2025

This is a 22-week developmental program for juniors, aged 13-17, who are in their first year of rowing. The development group may also occasionally have rowers who are in their 2nd or 3rd year of rowing. Racing is a part of the experience for development program members who demonstrate sufficient skill for a safe, productive and rewarding racing experience. Racing, for those who are selected to compete, includes regular season competition as outlined in our website: atomicrowing.com and Southeast Youth Regionals.

There are additional fees associated with race participation and with the purchase of race uniforms.

ORRA Membership, signed Code of Conduct, Medical form, USRowing waiver, and SafeSport certification are required.

The purpose of Summer Open Rows is to grow your love of the sport, experience the joy of increased comfort level in the small boats, and spending time on the water with your peers. Since rowing development requires quality repetition & consistency, Open Row is a fantastic foundation for our fall rowing programs beginning on August 25, 2025. Rowing is also SO much better when we are having FUN. There's no better way to have fun with rowing than signing up for Open Row!

Please wear athletic, close-fitting stretchy shorts and shirts (spandex), socks and athletic shoes. Make sure to wear a hat & sunscreen and bring a full, reusable water bottle every day. Participants must be comfortable around water and able to swim.
