HRRA Annual Membership–2025
Membership is open to all and valid for the calendar year. Rowers, coxswains, coaches, independent rowers, Board members, and non-coaching staff are automatically enrolled when they join an HRRA program or are hired to coach an HRRA program. Additionally, all HRRA Members must have a USRowing membership (club code H9RR4) and complete their SafeSport training as needed. Bonus: Members get 50% off boathouse rentals for events!

Junior Advanced GIRLS Sweep Rowing - Summer
This program is open to rowers who are rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, and those who have just graduated high school as of the spring. Rowers should have competitive racing experience at the JV or Varsity level, or have the recommendation of a coach.

Adult Novice/Learn to Row - Summer
Program for all adults over the age of 18 who are new to the sport of rowing. Program covers basic rowing technique, equipment handling, use of ergometers, rowing in the indoor tanks and eventually rowing on the water in sweep rowing boats (one oar per athlete). This is a teaching program, and does not focus on racing skill development. The team will represent HRRA at one local regatta.

Junior Novice/Learn to Row - Summer
This program is for juniors who are entering the 7th grade or higher and wish to learn to row and/or improve on their completed learn to row skills in eight oared shells on the Hudson! Athletes learn safety, technique, how to handle boats, steer the boats and basic race skills. The team represents HRRA at one local regatta.
