2024 Adult Masters Experienced - Spring
In this 21-week experienced adult rowing program, athletes will expand their fitness foundation from the fall season. Early focus on strength, endurance and team building will progress to refinement of technique and transfer of overall fitness to moving boats on the water. The work done in January, February, March and April is intended to prepare our adult atomic athletes for peak performance in late May and June. The focus of intra-squad and other competition in March and April is to develop tactically, technically and physiologically to reach desired levels at Dogwood Masters Regatta on June 1, 2024: the end of this phase. Those continuing into the next program will be preparing for Masters Southeast Regionals Championships in Aiken, SC (6/21-22/2024).
Selective participation in the Atomic Masters Program is established by coaches.
ORRA Membership, signed Code of Conduct, Medical form, USRowing waiver, and SafeSport certification are required. Uniform, regatta travel expenses and entry fees are not included in program fees. Additional Information

Youth Spring Development
In this 18-week developmental youth rowing program, athletes will develop the fitness base required for rowing competitively in the spring season. Focus on strength, endurance and team building will lead to technique development and transfer of general fitness to moving boats on the water. The work done in January, February, March and April is intended to prepare all atomic athletes for best performances in Mid-May and Early June. The team will race in March and April with the focus being to develop tactically, technically and physiologically to reach desired levels at Southeast Youth Championships in Sarasota, FL (5/11-12/2024). The Junior Development Program is the important foundation for the entire Atomic Juniors Program.
Uniform, regatta travel expenses and entry fees are not included in program fees. Additional Information

2024 Adult Masters - Spring
In this 11-week developmental adult rowing program, participants who have completed Session I and II will expand their rowing knowledge and skill on the water. This session offers the opportunity to accumulate rowing skill over time and repetition in order to be prepared to race at the Dogwood Masters Regatta on June 1, 2024 in Oak Ridge. The Atomic Masters Development Programs - Sessions I, II, and III are a very important foundation for the entire Atomic Masters Program.
Masters Development Session I and/or II are required prerequisites for this session. Uniform, regatta travel expenses and entry fees are not included in program fees. Signed Code of Conduct, Medical form, USRowing waiver and SafeSport certification are required. Additional Information

What: Learn the equipment and basics of rowing, both on land and on the water. Where: 697 Melton Lake Drive, Oak Ridge, TN 37830 When: Monday-Friday, 1:30-3:30pm We encourage you to sign up for as many weeks as possible, so you can continue to learn and develop your rowing skills. After completing your Learn To Row, you may be able to register for the Youth Fall Season Novice Coached program. Participation in the fall program is based upon coach recommendation. Please wear athletic, close-fitting stretchy shorts and shirts, socks and sneakers. Make sure to bring a full, reusable water bottle every day. Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses are suggested and a positive, team-oriented attitude is required! Additional Information
