Monday/Wednesday/Friday 6:30-8:30pm Cost: $100.00 LEARN to ROW is a perfect way to get into our Atomic Masters Development Fall Program! Please wear athletic, close-fitting stretchy shorts and shirts (spandex), socks and athletic shoes as well as a full water bottle.

Participants must be comfortable around water and able to swim.

We encourage you to sign up for multiple weeks so you can continue to learn and develop your rowing skills. LEARN to ROW is a perfect way to get into our Atomic Juniors Development Fall Program!

Please wear athletic, close-fitting stretchy shorts and shirts (spandex), socks and athletic shoes. Make sure to wear a hat & sunscreen and bring a full, reusable water bottle every day. Participants must be comfortable around water and able to swim.

2025 Summer Adult Development Open Row

This is a 9 week program focused on increased water time to develop rowing skill for athletes new to the sport of rowing. You will learn to row the single, double and quad during this summer session. This program is suitable for the overall enjoyment of summer rowing, community building, and as a foundation for our Fall Coached Adult Programs which begin on September 2, 2025.

There will be no sessions during the following weeks:
*June 23-27, 2025
*June 30-July4, 2025

Open Row JUNIORS Summer 2025 - 3 DAYS/Week

This is a 6-week open summer small boat program for Juniors who have previous rowing experience, and are not available every day of the week due to travel, etc..

Monday-Wednesday - Friday, 4:15-6:15pm (or any 3 days)

The purpose of Summer Open Rows is to grow your love of the sport, experience the joy of increased comfort level in the small boats, and spending time on the water with your peers. Since rowing development requires quality repetition & consistency, Open Row is a fantastic foundation for our fall rowing programs beginning on August 25, 2025. Rowing is also SO much better when we are having FUN. There's no better way to have fun with rowing than signing up for Open Row!

Junior Varsity - Fall 2025

Monday-Friday 4:15-6:15pm
Saturday 8:30-10:30am

In this 15-week experienced youth rowing program, competitive athletes increase aerobic base and develop a sound skill foundation for the spring season. Participation in the fall rowing "Head Race Season" is part of the competitive fall rowing experience and includes 5k Scrimmage Racing and Head Racing in Oak Ridge, Nashville and Chattanooga. There are additional fees associated with race participation and with the purchase of race uniforms.

Participation in the Atomic Varsity Program follows at least 1 year of Development rowing and is established by Atomic Varsity Coaches. ORRA Membership, signed Code of Conduct, Medical form, USRowing waiver, and SafeSport certification are required.

There is no scheduled training November 24-28 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

In this 15-week developmental youth rowing program, athletes learn the basics of rowing and begin to develop the fitness base required for rowing competitively in the spring season. Primary focuses for this program include: boat handling, skill acquisition and technique, and the team aspect of the sport.

There are additional fees associated with the purchase of Atomic clothing/gear and uniforms. The Junior Development Program is the foundation for our entire Atomic Juniors Program. Signed Code of Conduct, Medical form, USRowing waiver, and SafeSport certification are required.

There is no scheduled training November 24-28 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

In this 14-week adult rowing program, athletes focus on skill development, correct rowing technique and boat handling while beginning to develop the rowing specific fitness required for racing in the future. There are additional fees associated with race participation and with the purchase of Atomic gear and race uniforms.

In this 14-week experienced adult rowing program, athletes develop a broad training base through focused skill development, distance training and participation in the Fall 5k Head Race Season. Participation in the Atomic Masters Experienced Program follows at least 1 year of Development rowing and is established by the Atomic Coaching Staff.

There are additional fees associated with race participation and with the purchase of Atomic gear and race uniforms.
