Course Map / Traffic Pattern.

Vendors: Please first email the regatta vendor coordinator your intent to vend before you fill out the forms.

FRIDAY NOTE: Please note the Sunshine Conference (5 college teams) will be racing two events Friday morning. They should be done by 10:30am. Teams arriving before 11am need to be mindful of these competing teams.

Practice Times: Weather pending - Friday launch docks will be open from noon to 6 pm; all boats need to be off the water by 6:30 pm. Limited Saturday practice is planned after racing finishes to about 6:30 pm.

Trailers: Due to ongoing construction and the Sunshine Conference regatta, trailer arrival allowed after 9:00am Friday. Be aware of 15 MPH construction zone speed limit on Cattlemen Road. Remember to bring boat slings and low boys; no boat trees are planned for.

Team Tent Area: Sites are allotted on a 'first come, first served' basis. Rental tents are available upon request; use email link at the bottom of this page. Teams are allowed a maximum of 20 foot water frontage. Lots on the beachside (west) of the access road are approximately 20' wide x 40' deep. Additional space is available on the east side (away from the water) of the access road for teams with larger tents or with additional tents. Support trailers will be able to park behind Team Tents along the access road. WARNING: no tents / pop ups / etc. beachside (west) of the shell path on the grass or beach area. Also teams will have only 1 pass to park in the team tent area;

NOTE: Fire extinguishers are required in cooking areas.

Food Delivery: Teams must meet their restaurant delivery at the bridge athlete drop off area. Golf carts are available to help transport food to the tent area.

Dogs: Dogs are in the park as long as they are on fixed length 6' leashes (not retractable leashes) and they must be picked up after (you must supply your own pickup bags).

Parking: No parking fee; donations boxes will be at the park entrance volunteer check-in tent to help pay for golf carts and shuttle buses. Follow Parking Staff instructions. Sarasota County Sheriff is assigned for the weekend to assist us.

• The speed limit on cattleman road is 15 mph. Use caution.  It is extremely important to park at a 45 degree angle on Cattlemen Road south of the regatta island to allow bus traffic to navigate safely.  There will be parking personnel to assist.
• No Parking on Cattlemen Road north of the regatta island between the last circle at Desoto Road to the first bridge of the regatta island.
• ALL vehicular traffic entering the island will ENTER on the West Regatta Bridge and EXIT on the East Regatta Bridge. This is ONE-WAY. This is for Athlete drop-off, buses, officials, handicap, team boat trailers and team tent haulers.
• Bus parking is located in the lot off of DeSoto Road, south of Sports Authority.
• All Spectator/Volunteer Parking will be South of the East Regatta Island Bridge, angled at 45-degrees, using both lanes of Cattleman Road.  There will be 3 bus pick-up tents set-up and golf-carts will be running all day to move people and supplies.
• Parking Pass is required for Boat Trailers and Team Tent Haulers. These will be supplied on site by the Arrivals Team. Teams will have only 1 pass to park in the team tent area.

Direction to the regatta island from the NORTH:

• From I-75 take University Parkway, Exit 213.
• Drive WEST on University Parkway approx. 0.3 miles
• Turn SOUTH (left) onto North Cattlemen Road (traffic light).
• Drive approx 0.5 miles, following signs and pass thru 3 traffic circles.
• Continue SOUTH on North Cattlemen Road to the regatta island.
• Rowing facility will be on your right.
• Follow Parking Staff instructions.

Direction to the regatta island from the SOUTH:

• From I-75 take Fruitville Road, Exit 210.
• Drive WEST on Fruitville Road. approx. 0.2 miles.
• Turn NORTH (right) on North Cattlemen Road (traffic light).
• Drive approx 2.2 miles to the regatta island.
• Rowing facility will be on your left.
• Follow Parking Staff instructions.

All boat trailers, vendor trailers, team supply trailers, and handicap parking will be located on the island if possible.
