High Point Autumn Rowing Festival

  • Hosted By: Triad United Rowing Association
  • 2017 Registered Regatta

THE 2018 HIGH POINT AUTUMN ROWING FESTIVAL WILL BE A USROWING REGISTERED REGATTA.

Note, no refunds will be provided for weather related cancellations or for boats scratched after the regular registration deadline. However, the regatta director will make every effort to reschedule the event to a date within 30 days of the cancelled date. The director honored this commitment in 2015 when the event was rescheduled due to a hurricane.

EVENT CATEGORIES:

Mixed events:  At least half of the competitors in the boat (excluding coxswain) must be female.

Masters events:  Participation is allowed to a competitor who has attained or will attain the age of 21 during the current calendar year.  Please note  that handicaps will be applied to results.  The High Point Autumn Rowing Festival will use the Garrett/Zezza handicap algorithm. This algorithm is weighted heavily in favor of older rowers. Our race organizers believe there is a great interest in keeping older rowers involved in racing and so has adopted this algorithm for this reason.
