Rocky Mountain Rowing Club in sponsorship with Concept II, will provide the airfare for up to four athletes with 2000 meter qualifying times from the Denver Indoor Rowing Championships to the World Indoor Rowing Championships in Alexandria, VA. Qualifying times for the 2018 World Indoor Rowing Championships will be announced at a later date. Qualifying times are set by Concept II and are adjusted for the altitude in Denver.
The top four competitive qualifying times as determined by the race committee will earn the airfare. Since 1985, Rocky Mountain Rowing Club has been sending local athletes to the Indoor World Championships (this year will be in Virginia). Our Colorado athletes have always done very well on getting on the podium and have multiple first place “Hammers” brought back to Colorado. Mike Gasper from RMRC will be making the finally selection.
