Tennessee Indoor Rowing Championships

The event is held in the Maclellan Gym on UTC's campus. The street address is:

Coming East on I-24 (from Nashville)

Take Exit #178 (27 North/Downtown Chattanooga).  This is a right lane exit.

Proceed on 27 North for 1.3 miles to Exit #1C (58 North/4th Street Downtown).  This exit is also marked with UTC signs (brown) or UT-Chattanooga and the Aquarium.

Proceed East on 4th Street through seven (7) lights.  You will go up and down a large hill.  At the 8th light, take a right onto Mabel Street.  The UTC Arena should be on your right before and after the right turn.  There is also a University of Tennessee- Chattanooga sign on this corner.

Proceed to Maclellan Gym (Building #13).

Coming North on I-75 (from Atlanta)

At I-74 & I-24 split, go west on I-24 (toward Nashville and Chattanooga).  Proceed West on I-24 to Exit #178 (27 North/Downtown Chattanooga).  This is a right lane exit.  Proceed North on 27 to Exit #1C (58 North/4th Street Downtown).  From here follow same instructions as for "Coming East on I-24" printed above.

Coming South on I-75 (from Knoxville)

Take Exit 4 - North 153/Chickamauga Dam/Airport.  This is a right lane exit.  Go 5.4 miles to the Hwy 58 South/Amnicola Highway exit.  It is a right lane exit.  The exit  is also labelled "Chickamauga Lake."  There are UT-Chattanooga exit signs as well.

Go 6.4 miles to the next exit.  You will pass Olan Mills (right side), Coca-Cola (left side), BASF (right side) and Quaker (right side).  From the power line you have .8 miles to the exit;  the exit is 300 yards from the "Good Morning Chattanooga" water tower.  This is a right lane exit.

Proceed down the small hill and take the first left (onto Mabel).  NOTE:  Get into the left lane immediately upon exiting Amnicola Highway.

Go through traffic light on E. 3rd Street.  Go through traffic light at E. 4th Street and proceed past the Arena (#1 on Campus Map) to Maclellan Gym (Building #13).
