The race schedule is posted and there will be an 'All Participants Meeting" at 9:30 at the clerks booth. 

 Lightweights will weigh-in in the main registration area starting at 9:35 (May be started earlier if there are heats with an earlier start time, will be posted when final schedule posted.) weigh in will be located in bay 12.

Registration packages with tickets for the post race BBQ and medal presentation will be available for pick-up starting at 9:00 in bay 12.

This regatta is sanctioned by RCA and will follow the RCA rules of racing with the following exceptions

EXCEPTIONS TO RCA RULES OF RACING This regatta will follow the Rowing Canada Aviron Rules of Racing, with the divergences (per section 1.7)below 

2.6 Weighing of Coxswains- there will be no coxie weigh-ins

2.10 Lightweight Competitors- there categories will be 60kg for women and 74kg for men

2.11 Weighing of Athletes in Weight Restricted Events- weigh ins will occur beginning one hour prior to the first race and will close one hour after racing has begun.

4.1 Length, Marking and Number of Lanes of Course- the course will have markings at every 500 metre mark.

6.1 General Principles- Being a Masters Regatta, Alcohol Advertising based on sponsorship may occur

7.6 Crew Changes Before the First Heat- No substitutions in the single will be permitted. 

9.3 Events with 7 or More Entries- In events that are multiple age categories (ie Women A-C 4+), if there are enough in each category, the event will be broken into age categories and the events will occur right after the published time.

11.17.6- Zonal Umpiring- Zonal Umpiring will be used for the regatta.

 A master shall be placed in the age category shown below corresponding to the age reached during the current calendar year: 

Classification: 

 AA age:  21 - 26 years  

 A  age:  27  - 35 years  

 B age:  36 – 42 years  

 C age:  43 – 49 years  

 D age:  50 - 54 

 E age:  55 - 59 

 F age:  60 - 64 

 G age:  65 - 69 

 H age:  70 - 74 

 I age:  75 and over 

 Age categories do not apply to coxswains. The average age calculation and minimum age exclude the coxswain. Every Masters competitor must be able to provide proof of age by producing official documentation with photo upon request.  Each competitor shall be responsible for his/her own health and fitness. At the discretion of the Organizing Committee, Masters events may be raced together due to insufficient entries. 

2.9 Mixed Masters Events 

Mixed crew events may be held for Masters crews in which half of the crew, excluding the coxswain, shall be women and half shall be men. The coxswain may be of either sex.
