EVENT CATEGORIES:

Mixed events:  Half of the competitors in the boat (excluding coxswain) must be male; and the other half female.

Masters events:  Participation is allowed to a competitor who has attained or will attain the age of 21 during the current calendar year.  Please note  that handicaps will be applied to results.  

Youth:  Participation is allowed to a competitor who, in the current calendar year, does not attain the age of 19 years as of December 31 of the current calendar year, or who is enrolled in secondary school as a full-time student seeking a diploma

Youth Novice:  Participation is allowed to a competitor who starting competing after October 4th of 2013 and meets the qualification of a Youth rower.  A rower who has previously competed only as a coxswain can compete as a novice rower.  The novice category does not apply to coxswains – i.e., an experienced coxswain can cox in a novice event.

College Novice: Participation is allowed to college students in their first year of collegiate rowing competition.
