The High Point Autumn Rowing Festival is held at beautiful Oak Hollow Lake in High Point, NC. If you are driving to the launching area using GPS to navigate then use this address: 3700 Waterview Road, High Point.
The race course is a particularly exciting one for both rowers and coxswains. The head race begins with a 2,000m straight out toward a dam where crews will navigate an almost 180 degree turn to starboard 'Round the Horn'. Then 500m later there is a 80 degree turn to port to bring you into the final straight past the spectator viewing area.
