Welcome to the 2022 Seattle Row for the Cure on Sunday September 18th.

We are excited to be back after a 2-year break due to COVID and looking forward to seeing all of you out to raise funds for the cause.

We are proud to be a supporter of numerous foundations focused on a cure. Traditionally we have supported the Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen® for many years. In 2020, Puget Sound Komen, along with all Komen regional affiliates, was closed and operations were centralized.

Going forward we will continue to support Komen, including financial assistance for people undergoing treatments and a national helpline accessible at 1-877-GO KOMEN, and will now expand our support to other PNW cancer organizations. Our partners for 2022 forward include:
•          Providence Swedish Breast Center
•          Susan G. Komen
•          Citrine Health
•          Carol Milgard Breast Center
The money we fundraise supports local education, free screenings, follow-up treatments, spreading awareness in our region, and cutting edge research.
For everyone involved with our mission – it’s personal. Volunteers, sponsors, donors, and participants across the country have all been touched in some way by this deadly disease. Together, we make a difference!

Compete in our Head Race or the new 1K Rally

Or race in both! As we planned in 2019, we are hosting our 5800-meter head race and a 1K Rally for all. The 1K Rally starts just southwest of Pocock Rowing Center and finishes at Gas Works Park Point. The rally is designed to be a fun event for all and provide an opportunity for novice rowers to have a chance to participate. Those just starting their rowing career this fall may enjoy racing in a shorter 1K race versus the longer head race.

Fundraising will again be through Classy.org

Fundraising has started on our Classy.org site. Set up your individual or team fundraising pages now. We're getting a great start towards our $100,000 goal. Individuals who raise $150 or more will receive our commemorative RFTC T-shirt.

For our FIFTH year running, we will award a Seattle RFTC collectors Concept II Pink erg to any junior team raising at least $8k or a masters team raising at least $10k. Start building your team and raising money! It’s for the best cause ever AND you get the bragging rights of the Pink Erg!

Regatta Headquarters

Regatta headquarters will again be at Gas Works Park. We'll be at the park starting at 5:30 until 12 pm. Stop by for free snacks, RFTC t-shirts, and awards. We will also celebrate the funds raised, name the RFTC PINK costume contest winners and award the pink ergs to the winning teams. Plan to join us after you finish your race.
