Volunteer Membership
Thank you for volunteering to help with our UVRF programs! This FREE UVRF membership is for our non-rowing volunteers only.
As prerequisites, you must also 1) become a FREE Volunteer member of USRowing (governing body for our sport and our insurer), 2) complete the "SafeSport for Volunteers" 15-minute training, and 3) verify that you have an up-to-date COVID vaccination. Follow these steps: Step 1: Create an account or login to your existing account at USRowing and sign up for membership for this calendar year. Select the Membership Level called Volunteer (Non-athletes only)-Free. Note, non-athlete in this context means non-rower! The UVRF club code is '4FWDQ'. Step 2: Create an account or login to your existing account at the U.S. Center for SafeSport. Enroll in and complete the "SafeSport for Volunteer" curriculum. Completing this training for another sport qualifies for this requirement. If you are creating your SafeSport account for the first time, please select Enrollment Key on the landing page. When prompted, enter the following key: NGBUSR-RFKt8f. This will affiliate you with our governing body USRowing and offer the course at no cost. Step 3: Email a photo of your CDC vaccination card to vaccination.uvrf@gmail.com if you haven't already done this in 2021 (or email to discuss an alternate method of verification). Add this Volunteer Membership to your RegattaCentral cart and Check Out at no cost.
