Masters Annual Membership

    Sculling: You must have rowed at least one competitive season to join this Summer Team. This summer long commitment requires practice 6 days a week. You will compete in Regattas around New England. Practice is held at the Dover boathouse.
    Monday - Saturday Practices 7:00-10:00am Regattas will be announced closer to the season.

    Sweep: This program will teach the basics of Sweep rowing (1 oar in a boat that seats 4 or 8 rowers). This is offered to incoming 8th graders to incoming 12th graders. There is no experience necessary. One will learn all aspects of rowing, from the parts of the boat, carrying the equipment, the proper stroke on a rowing machine and then rowing on the Oyster River and Great Bay in Durham. It is suggested that one take this camp before joining the Fall or Spring Junior Team.

    Logbook Sculling

    After successful completion of the GBR captain's test, a log book rower will receive access to skill appropriate equipment during GBR's open season. This fee also includes access to the program "I ROW NOW" for boat reservations and availability.
    Must have a current GBR Masters membership and a current USRowing membership.

  • Coached Masters - DOVER

    Coached Masters program is designed for Masters Men & Women rowers looking to train seriously and compete in local regattas.
    Located at the Dover Boathouse. A current GBR Masters membership is required. Swim waiver, medical forms must be on record and USRowing basic membership must be up to date. (Please note, some regattas may require a Championship membership)

    Regatta Fees for Varsity -Lebanon Invitational (novice do not need to pay)

    Regattas should be expected to be an all day event. Please make sure you can dedicate the whole day. We cannot dictate race times nor guarantee the ability for rowers to leave early.Rowers should stay to support their teammates and help unload and load the boats. **There are no refunds for Regatta fees, please check your schedules carefully**
    This race is for NOVICE and VARSITY. Fees are included in Novice membership. Varsity rowers wishing to attend this race, must pay the $20 fee and register. This race included GBR, Lebanon and Souhegan. Race will be 8's for novice. Sculling and 4's for Varsity.
