This program is designed for the athlete who is comfortable and confident in a single, and has, preferably, several seasons of experience sculling. Athletes in this group are expected to be able to carry their own equipment without assistance, launch and land safely, steer competently and follow the traffic pattern on the river, and get back into their boat unassisted if they should flip. Training will be based primarily on steady state miles, with occasional speed work.
This program is for the experienced sculler who meets the above criteria, but would like to train fewer times per week.

This program is designed for the athlete who is comfortable and confident in a single, and has, preferably, several seasons of experience sculling. Training will be based primarily on steady state miles, with occasional speed work.
Athletes in this group will train in the afternoon - they will be split into two groups of 5, one that begins at 4:45 and ends at 6:15 and one that begins at 5:00 and ends at 6:30 to help stagger congestion around the boathouse and parking area. Athletes will be assigned to these sub groups at the coaches discretion, prior to the first day of the program. • Youth Novice Sculling

This program is ideal for the athlete who might have dabbled in sculling a time or two, but needs more practice and coaching to be confident and comfortable in a single. Athletes will have access to slightly more stable singles in order to refine their skills in a low pressure environment.
Athletes must already have experience with rowing in general, and ideally have completed at least one competitive season at GBR or a similar level program. This is not a learn to row class - athletes will be expected to know basic terminology, and stroke sequence (same for rowing/sculling).
